Hire period
Provide an estimated start and finish time. If the day may run longer, mention this when outlining the journey.
Stops and coverage
List known locations and indicate whether the route stays in Edinburgh or extends farther across Scotland.
Standby needs

Hourly hire allows the itinerary to evolve within the agreed arrangement; extensions and material changes depend on availability and should be discussed rather than assumed.
Plan with confidence.
Provisional hire: £100/hour, minimum 3 hours (£300). Half day: £400 for up to 4 hours / 50 miles. Full day: £800 for up to 8 hours / 100 miles. All subject to written confirmation.
Pricing & quotationsShould I choose hourly hire or a day package?
Hourly hire suits a defined period with a flexible itinerary. Day packages have stated time and mileage limits. Describe your appointments so the team can confirm the appropriate arrangement.
What if the day runs longer or farther?
The proposed basis for extra agreed time is £100/hour and excess day-package mileage is £3.50/mile. Extensions depend on availability and must be agreed; they are not automatically confirmed.
Does the estimate include every expense?
No. Mileage allowance for hourly hire, positioning, parking, waiting arrangements, extras and VAT treatment are confirmed in writing before booking.
